Girl’s golf is one of the most under-the-radar sports at Hamilton, but that doesn’t stop our team from putting in the effort and training to become the best that they can be. While they may have struggled this year, it was a season of improvement and refining our players’ skills.
While Audrey VanBeukering and Madelyn Fuzak are graduating it opens spots to let our JV golfers grow and compete on the varsity stage. The junior varsity team has a lot of work they need to put in to catch up with some of our future seniors, but with time, they might contribute the missing pieces that will be needed to improve our team.
With the help of our returning players Esther Lauer and Caroline Behnke, they can teach our JV team to become the best that they can be. Next year, our golfers need to use the skills they learned this year to climb the ranks and solidify themselves as a team that can challenge to finish in the top half of the conference. With Audrey VanBeukering and Madelyn Fuzak leaving, the JV team needs to put in the effort to help our varsity team climb the ranks to become the best team possible.
