Joselyn Paskvan: A Player with Passion and Vision

Joselyn Paskvan is more than just a player for Hamilton Girls Varsity Soccer; she is a visionary with a deep passion for the game. As she is brought with challenges of excitement and nervousness, her commitment and focus shines through on the field.

Walking onto the field it can be nerve racking not knowing what may happen once you step on it, But Joselyn fights through the challenge.

¨I usually feel slight nerves, but mostly very motivated and focused.¨ Joselyn states

Before a game, it is typical to be nervous, but people who can overcome that fear and stay motivated to push on and keeps it interesting.

Aubanie Tenbrink a Senior teammate and friend of Joselyn, reflects on Joselyn’s leadership for the team.

¨Jos plays a huge leadership role on our team. She is always bringing on the energy, no matter what. We are very lucky to have such a leader on the team.¨ Aubanie shares

Joselyn can be seen, whether it be during dive season, basketball season, or her current soccer season, leading and cheering on her teammates during not only the tough games, but also the ones they are playing well in. Her ability to stay focused on her goals while also supporting the team around her makes her a true leader on and off the field.

As Joselyn continues her Soccer career in High School, she waits to see what’s next in the future,

¨My future is undecided, I trust that God has a plan for me, as I would like to further my skills and play soccer at the college level. The recruiting process is difficult, but I’m working my hardest to achieve the things I want in life, regarding soccer.¨

Joeslyn wants to work hard as she continues her soccer career as she has one more season left. Hoping whatever happens in the future is Gods plan and everyone will be alright
