On the field, Keegan is a force to watch, weaving through adversaries with the balance of a dancer and the precision of a surgeon. Off the field, he’s just as impressive, showing respect, gratitude, and integrity.
Keegan Johr’s life includes way more than soccer. He plays various other sports and has other hobbies that add to his skill set.
On The Field
Keegan can be a key part of the team, he plays as a solid defender. He grew up playing soccer for as long as he can remember. Keegan’s positive attitude and encouraging energy helped the team grow.
“Keegan Johr is a wonderful human being who unfortunately suffered a season-ending injury for us this year. While we missed having one of our most promising strikers on the field, Keegan’s presence remained crucial to the team throughout the season. His humor and innate happiness were very appreciated, as he was always able to boost team morale with his joyful personality.“ Coach Chambers explains.
Some of his teammates would say that if he hadn’t got the injury that cut his season short, it could’ve changed the outcomes of some of the games. But from the sideline, he pushed his teammates to be the best they could be, wanting them to do their best even without him on the field.
Off the Field
Keegan has gone to Hamilton for his entire life, and he is the oldest of the two kids in his family. During his free time, he shows that he is mostly involved in some kind of sport.
One of Keegan’s favorite hobbies is skiing, he likes the exhilarating feeling of going down the slope with his friends and family.
“I like to play golf and hang out with friends but most of the time I work.” He works at Ravines Golf Club and wants to go to Ferris to further extend his golf dream, “ I am probably going to Ferris State for professional golf management because it is a nice way to stay attached to the game of golf while still getting a business degree” Keegan reasons.
He also likes to watch basketball the most, more specifically, Michigan. “If Michigan is on, he is watching it.” Bobby Samuels states.
Soccer is not his actual first love, Keegan’s favorite sport to play is golf and as shown, he would like to pursue some sort of golf career. Keegan made the varsity golf team last year and is hoping to continue this year as a senior.
“Someday I hope to work for the PGA or some professional golf tour or own a golf course of my own”, would be part of Keegan Johrs’s ultimate goal of getting more involved and getting to do something with golf every day.
Even when he isn’t on the field or course he still is part of the sports world.
Throughout Keegan’s life, he has been playing sports. From the early days to the present, he has strived to be a competitor. From soccer to golf, trying to push himself to be better than he was. Now he is still committed and determined to do great things in some part of the sports industry.
