Jack Langeland: A Passionate Swimmer and Diver Meet Jack Langeland, a sophomore at Hamilton High School who has been a part of the boy’s varsity swim and dive team since the 3rd grade. He has been an avid swimmer ever since.
He swims in the 200 medley relay, 200 free, 100 fly. And 400 free relay. For him, swimming is not just a sport, but a getaway from the stresses of life.
Jack continues swimming due to the love he has for the sport. He says,” It is a getaway from regular life.’’ He also really enjoys the feeling of being in the water. He believes that swimming is not just a physical activity, but also a mental one that requires discipline and focus. As his teammates would say he is a hard worker. Trey nyboer says, “he always works hard even when things are difficult.”
When he’s not in the pool, Jack loves to lift weights, swim, and hang out with his friends. He is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys pushing himself to new limits. He believes that a healthy lifestyle is key to achieving success, both in and out of the pool.
Jack’s dedication to swimming is evident in his desire to continue swimming throughout college. He hopes to join a college team and continue to improve his skills as a swimmer.
