Adi Winsemius is a dedicated junior who has been a part of the Hamilton cheer team for four years. She is a flyer and has always been one ever since she started cheering in her 7th-grade year. Although she did not cheer in her sophomore year, she returned to the team with even more drive and passion for the sport. In addition to her involvement in competitive cheerleading, Adi also participates in sideline cheer during the fall season.
Zoey Schruer, Adi’s best friend, has been a constant source of inspiration for her. Zoey’s encouragement and motivation have pushed Adi to try harder and strive for excellence. Adi’s coaches have also played a crucial role in helping her achieve higher skills and reach her full potential as a cheerleader.
Adi’s coaches have also recognized her hard work and dedication to the team. According to Coach Angie Kidwell, “Adi is an awesome teammate and athlete. She continues to try and improve herself and is always willing to do what’s best for the team.” Adi’s commitment to being a team player and striving for excellence has not gone unnoticed by her coaches and teammates.
Adi’s family is her greatest support system. They have always been there for her, cheering her on and providing her with the love and encouragement she needs to succeed.
According to teammate Izzy Ruggles, “Adi has been a real asset to our team, she’s constantly working to better herself and overall has a great attitude. She’s always making friends with everyone and it’s been so great to have her as a friend and teammate this year.” Adi’s hard work, positive attitude, and friendly nature have earned her the respect and admiration of her teammates. She is a great example of what it means to be a team player.
One of the most memorable moments for Adi during this season was when she and her group finally achieved a difficult stunt that they had been working on for a while. The sense of accomplishment and pride that she felt at that moment was truly unforgettable.
“We work hard for perfection,” says Adi Winsemius, reflecting on the dedication and effort that her team puts into their routines. She knows that being a successful cheerleader requires hours of practice, conditioning, and teamwork. But for Adi, the hard work is worth it.
For Adi, the best part about being on a cheer team is the opportunity to compete in front of a crowd with her teammates. She loves being able to showcase all the hard work and dedication that they put into their routines. Adi and her team work tirelessly to achieve perfection, and their commitment to excellence is evident in every performance.
