In the 2003 winter Varsity Volleyball season, these girls conquered every game. Wins were building up as they carried into regionals. After an unfortunate loss in the quarterfinals, the girls still had an impressive win streak.
The whole team couldn’t have done it just on the court. The support coming from the fans was outrageous. With all the hard work and a winning streak, it brought Hamilton Volleyball fans into the stands to scream and shout. The excitement came from more than just the girls and coaches; the bleachers were filled with a fierce student section celebrating every win.
The team’s success carried into Regionals, leading to them winning conference titles, and their winning streak grew into something much bigger than what they initially thought.

Reaching the state quarterfinals showed how hard the girls were working during practice and pushing themselves to a higher standard. Not only did they push themselves, but they got the team into a higher level of competitiveness and competed at the state quarterfinals.
“Winning regionals was the biggest win of the season for the team, which allowed the girls into the state quarterfinals. This was something above and beyond their goals of winning the conference and district titles,” Coach Klaasen said. “This will definitely be a season to remember,” Klaasen added.
As the 2003 Hamilton Volleyball season came to a wrap, collective achievements were made. Despite the quarterfinal loss, this season will not be forgotten.
