History of Boys varsity soccer

There are seasons to remember and players to thank, but let’s go back to where it started: 2005

By Blake Hunderman

In 2005, that was Hamilton’s first boys’ varsity soccer team. Their team record was 7-12-1, including one district over Byron Center.

Their first win was against Comstock Park. That was their 6th game played; they came into the game 0-5. Their first-ever win against Holland Christian was on 10/12/26 with a score of 1-0.

Then the 2026 Boys varsity soccer team went 8-10-2. They made it to districts, and they won their first game 8-2 against Hastings. In the second game, they lost 4-0 to Grand Rapids South Christian.

The head coach right now

Is Noah Chambers. Noah Chambers’ coaching record is 17-32-6. Coach Noah Chambers said ¨his most memorable season (in a bad way) was his first season; they went 0-15-2” That’s not good for his first career coaching.

His most memorable moment was last year, the 2025 season, because it was their first winning record in 10 years¨. Last year, the varsity team won the Kenowa Hills soccer tournament, and so did the 2026 team.
