Jennifer Zavala
Jennifer Zavala is a freshman on the Competitive Cheer team. She has done Competitive Cheer since 5th grade and Side Line since 8th grade.
Other than Cheer, she participates in Soccer and Track.
Her current position is a base.
The thing she loves most about cheer is, “The bond that we all create.”
She said that the thing that cheer will most teach you is, “Things will get hard but you can’t give up and to push through all my troubles and weaknesses.”
Coach Amanda Kapenga said, “Jenn is always willing to help her teammates and recognize when help is needed.”
Paige Mokma, a senior on the Competitive Cheer team mentioned, “Jenn always stays calm under pressure, which helps the whole team to stay calm.”
Genesis Hanse, a junior on the Competitive Cheer team said, “She keeps trying even when it’s hard.”
Lilly Jacobs, a freshman on the Competitive Cheer team stated, “She’s always focused and works hard and get things done.”
