A senior that is passionate and has a strong connection to the game of football. Justin Mcillwain is #7 on the field and plays as the star quarterback.
He has played football since third grade. When asked how he feels about this being his last season on the Hamilton Varsity Football team, he said, “It is sad that it is my last season but I’m excited because I worked hard for my senior year, I loved being a leader to the underclassmen and making connections with my team.”
Justin Mcillwain is a strong leader and a captain of the football team. The team’s Dynamic is that they all work together and that the upperclassmen show leadership to help the underclassmen.
When asked what his favorite part of being on the football team he responded with “Spending time with the guys outside of football I mean I love the game of football but I The bonding in the connections made during the season that lead to friendships outside of football.”
With the rule of having to pass 4 out 6 classes. Justin works hard to keep his grades up and school has always come naturally to him. He has never struggled with having to manage his time between school and football. He has the motivation to keep up with school and football because he loves to be a leader to the underclassmen so they have motivation too!
